Precipitated calcium carbonate (pcc). Acts as a rheological additive. It is a surface treated, premium quality, high performance, ultra-fine pcc. Provides thixotropy and viscosity control resulting in improved sag and slump characteristics of the sealant. The multi-functional aspect of Ultra-Pflex® pcc provides the formulator with a unique tool with which to solve demanding performance problems, while offering significant cost savings potential. Used in sealants, particularly PVC plastisol, polysulfide, and polyurethane systems. Ultra-Pflex® PCC by Specialty Minerals is a surface treated, premium quality, high performance, ultrafine coated precipitated calcium carbonate. Used as a rheology modifier in sealants. Ultra-Pflex® PCC provides very good sag and slump resistance.
