Abalyn® by Pinova (DRT) is a methyl ester of rosin. Acts as a plasticizer, tackifier and wetting agent. It is an amber-colored, near neutral, tacky, viscous liquid. Has good thermal stability and excellent surface wetting properties. Is compatible and miscible with a wide variety of materials but insoluble in water. Abalyn® has applications for pressure-sensitive and hot melt adhesives and sealants.
