Copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone with vinyl acetate. It is a cloudy aqueous polymer. The clarity of its solution depends upon the proportion of vinylpyrrolidone to vinyl acetate. The solution can be slightly acidic but not electrolytic. Exhibits viscosity enhancing and protective colloid properties. Used in remoistenable adhesive and other adhesives for paper applications.
