About Nairit
Nairit, commissioned in 1936 (with chloroprene rubber production starting in 1940 under the Nairit trade name) and headquartered in Yerevan, Armenia, is a historic producer of synthetic rubbers and latexes with Soviet-era origins. As the sole polychloroprene rubber manufacturer in the former Soviet Union, it supplied chloroprene-based materials globally, peaking at significant market share before facing operational halts. For the adhesives industry, Nairit offers chloroprene rubber latexes and polychloroprene-based polymers (polychloroprene rubber types). These deliver strong adhesion, excellent heat and chemical resistance, flexibility, oil resistance, and weatherability in contact adhesives, shoe adhesives, construction sealants, automotive bonding, and industrial applications requiring durable, elastic bonds.
