Micral® 932 by Huber Engineered Materials is a halogen-free flame retardant and smoke suppressant, alumina trihydrate (99.6%). It has high surface area with a very precise, ultrafine particle size distribution. It is suitable for use in adhesives. Exhibits exceptional brightness and excellent suspension. Offers improved handling properties, dependable delivery and long-term availability. It is a lower cost replacement for precipitated alumina trihydrate (ATH). Micral® 932 has low soluble soda and free moisture content. Micral® 916 by Huber Engineered Materials is a high surface area alumina trihydrate (64.9%) with a very precise, ultrafine particle size distribution. Acts as an economical halogen-free flame retardant and smoke suppressant. Exhibits exceptional brightness, excellent suspension, incompatibility to strong acids and insolubility in water. Offers improved handling properties, dependable delivery and long-term availability. It has lower soluble soda and free moisture content. It is non-combustible but stable and non-reactive under normal conditions. Micral® 916 is suitable for use in adhesives. It is listed in TSCA, NDSL and INSQ.
