About Goonvean Fibres

Goonvean Fibres, founded in 2004, and headquartered in St. Austell, Cornwall, UK, is one of Europe’s largest producers of precision-cut technical fibers. It supplies short-cut polyacrylonitrile (PAN 60, PAN 3G), acrylic, cellulose and specialty fibers for the adhesives industry. These fibers enhance tensile strength, crack resistance and rheology in tile adhesives, joint compounds, construction sealants and cementitious systems. The Acrylofloc® range offers flocculating and alkali-soluble grades. Goonvean emphasizes sustainable sourcing and custom lengths for optimal performance in both polymer-based and cement-based formulations.

PAN 5

Polyacrylonitrile fibers. It is white colored fiber with bright lustre. It provides low absorbency, good alkali resistance against weak alkalis, good acid resistance against strong and weak acids, and excellent sunlight resistance. It is non-biodegradable and insoluble in water. It has applications in adhesives and sealants.

PAN 3G

Polyacrylonitrile fibers. It is off-white or gold colored fiber with bright lustre. It provides low absorbency, good alkali resistance against weak alkalis, good acid resistance against strong and weak acids, and excellent sunlight resistance. It is non-biodegradable and insoluble in water. It has applications in adhesives and sealants.
