Actafoam® R-3 by Galata Chemicals (Artek) is a Fatty Acid Salt Dispersion. It is a lead-free, high-efficiency liquid activator-stabilizer for vinyl plastisol foams. It provides a moderate level of activation. It imparts good heat and light stability. It can be used in EPDM and PVC/nitrile sponge compositions. Its applications include closure sealing gaskets for food containers. Usage level of Actafoam® R-3 is 1-4 parts per 100 parts resin standard. Actafoam® F-2 by Galata Chemicals (Artek) is a Stearic Acid Salt. It is used as a lead-free, high-efficiency activator for foam compositions. It can be used as an activator in plastic foams, EPDM and PVC/nitrile sponge compounds. It applications include closure sealing gaskets for food containers. Usage level of Actafoam® F-2 is 1-4 parts per 100 parts resin standard.
