EPODIL® LV5 by Evonik is a diluent, chemically inert, low viscosity adhesion promoter. It offers improved chemical- and water resistance. It exhibits low volatility and maintains a high level of corrosion resistance.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It is soluble in and compatible with a wide variety of epoxy resins as well as most curing agents.</li>
<li> It is a specialized additive enhancing the performance properties of a formulated system and should be added at relatively low loadings, in the order of 5 to 15 phr.</li>
<li> In the formulation of trowel able epoxy mortars, its addition can help to improve trowel ability by reducing/eliminating the tendency for drag or sticking to occur, so that it is not necessary to keep wetting the trowel with solvent to obtain a smooth surface.</li>
<li> In epoxy mastic coatings for application to poorly prepared surfaces EPODIL® LV5 aids penetration of surface rust and oil leading to improved adhesion.</li>
<li> It is used in flooring and structural adhesive applications.</li>
<li> Recommended use level is 5-15 phr.</li>
<li> It has a shelf life of 24 months.</li></ul> EPODIL® 781 by Evonik is a mono-functional reactive diluent. Provides improved flexibility and maintains barrier properties. It is sometimes used as a performance alternative for Epodil® 748 with a tradeoff in some mechanical properties. Suitable for structural adhesive applications. Recommended dosage level of EPODIL® 781 is 190 phr. It has a shelf life of 36 months. EPODIL® 742 by Evonik is cresyl glycidyl ether (CGE). It is a monofunctional reactive diluent.<br>

<li> Offers minimal impact on gel time, maintains glass transition temperature and compressive strength.</li>

<li> EPODIL® 761 has a shelf life of 36 months.</li></ul> Epodil® 748 by Evonik is an aliphatic glycidyl ether of a mixture of C12-C14 aliphatic alcohols. It acts as a curing agent and a reactive diluent. It used to reduce the viscosity of epoxy resin systems. It is designed in two component adhesives. It possesses low vapor pressure, low toxicity, improved flexibility and improved adhesion to non-polar surfaces. Epodil® 748 has a shelf life of at least 36 months. Epodil® 750 by Evonik is diglycidyl ether of 1,4-butanediol. It acts as a curing agent. It provides maximum viscosity reduction with physical and performance properties. Epodil® 750 is used in adhesive applications. Epodil® 749 by Evonik is a neopentyl glycol diglycidyl ether based curing agent. It is used to reduce viscosity of epoxy resin systems. It provides maximum viscosity reduction and good maintenance properties. It offers good dilution efficiency, low volatility. Epodil® 749 is used in adhesives. It has a minimum shelf life of 12 months. Epodil® 762 by Evonik is a tri-functional reactive diluent. Provides very good retention of properties. Offers minimal impact on physical properties and cure speed. Shows high compatibility with epoxy. It is often used as a lower viscosity alternative to Epodil® 733 but also brings improved impact resistance. Suitable for 2K adhesives application. Epodil® 762 has a shelf life of 36 months. Epodil® L by Evonik is an aromatic hydrocarbon for adhesives. It possesses advantages such as good chemical resistance, low toxicity and low volatility. Epodil® L offers benefits such as low viscosity at ambient temperatures and low viscosity/temperature coefficient. Use level of this product is 5-25 phr.
