Hydrophilic fumed silica. Acts as a photoinitiators as well as rheology modifier. Provides excellent gloss and very good anti-settling properties in pigmented systems. Offers better anti caking control. Used in UV, solvent-based and water-based systems. Also used in adhesives gel coats. Recommended usage level ranges from 0.5-20.00%. Acts as a fast curing type-I photo initiator. It is soluble in most monomers, oligomers and prepolymers but insoluble in water. Exhibits very fast curing and excellent surface cure. Recommended usage level ranges from 0.5-10%. Benzophenone. Acts as a type-II photoinitiator. In the presence of oxygen, the use of an amine co-initiator is recommended. It is soluble in most monomers, oligomers and pre-polymers but insoluble in water. Offers very fast curing and excellent hardness. Recommended usage level ranges from 1-8%. Benzildimthyl ketal. Acts as a type-I photo initiator. It is soluble in most monomers, oligomers and pre-polymers but insoluble in water. Its absorption peaks are 250 and 340. Offers very fast curing, excellent through cure, low volatility and low cured film odor. Recommended usage level ranges from 0.5 - 5%.
