2-Hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone. KEMISORB 11 by Chemipro Kasei acts as an ultraviolet absorber. It is pale yellowish powder with a melting point of more than 63 °C. It is effective in poly vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, unsaturated polyester, styrene-acrylic resins. KEMISORB 11 has an excellent effect in chlorinated paraffin and adhesives.
