Dioctyl sebacate (DOS). Acts as a plasticizer. Possesses low volatility, electrical insulation and high plasticizing rate. It is a colorless or light yellow oily liquid with a special smell. It is not only cold-resistant but also light-proof and heat-resistant. It dissolves in hydrocarbons, alcohols, ester, chlorocarbons, ether, benzene and other organic solvents.
Dimethyl sebacate (DBS). Acts as a plasticizer. It is oily, colorless and transparent liquid. Is compatible with benzyl cellulose, cellulose acetate, cellulose acetobutyrate, cellulose acetopropionate, chlorinated rubber, ethyl cellulose, polystyrene, polyvinyl butyral and vinyl chloride-vinyl, acetate copolymers.
Dibutyl sebacate (DBS). Acts as a cold resistant plasticizer. Has good resistance to cold and oil. It is oily, colorless and transparent liquid. Can dissolve in ethyl hydrate, ethyl ether, methyl benzene and other organic solvents.
