Borica, established in 1998 and headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, supplies specialty chemical families for adhesives applications. Its portfolio includes organotitanate and organozirconate coupling agents, adhesion promoters, crosslinkers and catalysts. TYTAN™ S6

TYTAN™ S6 by Borica acts as a catalyst, cross linking agent and moisture scavenger. It is a di-iso-butoxy titanium chelate (ethylacetoacetate titanate) grade. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Exhibits improved build-up of physical properties, enhanced adhesion, and extended shelf-life through moisture scavenging.</li> <li>Offers fast curing through catalysis of hydrolysis of methoxy terminated curing agents (Si-O-Me) and increased modulus of elasticity through crosslinking with Si-OH functional groups.</li> <li>TYTAN™ S6 is suitable for RTV silicone sealants.</li> <li>It is also used in the construction, automotive and electronic industries.</li></ul>

TYTAN™ CA-B116

TYTAN™ CA-B116 by Borica is the bismuth-based catalyst used for curing a wide range of polyurethane formulations. It has a similar reaction profile as DBTDL.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Provides reduced toxicity with higher selectivity and less gassing in the presence of moisture.</li> <li>Offers slow to moderate speed.</li> <li>Suitable for both one- and two-component systems for ambient cure or heat cure systems.</li> <li>TYTAN™ CA-B116 is used in adhesives and sealants.</li></ul>

TYTAN™ S3

TYTAN™ S3 by Borica acts as a catalyst, cross linking agent and moisture scavenger. It is a titanium ethylacetoacetate compound used in silane and silicone formulations. It is moisture-sensitive and cures immediately upon exposure to moisture at room temperature. TYTAN™ S3 is suitable for RTV silicone sealants.
