Pluracol® PEP450 by BASF is a polyether tetrol characterized by four secondary hydroxyl groups. It has extremely low viscosity. Pluracol® PEP450 may be used as a crosslinking agent in polyurethane foam and elastomer formulations. Foam formulations made by using this polyol are easily blended and handled, especially in water-blown foam systems. Pluracol® 1543 by BASF is secondary hydroxyl-terminated graft polyether triol. It contains approximately 44% solids of copolymerized styrene and acrylonitrile. It has been formulated with a low volatile inhibitor package designed for either conventional curing or mechanical forced-air curing. This high solids graft polyol can be used to manufacture flexible slabstock foam having maximum load-bearing properties. It can be used alone for maximum effect or in combination with conventional polyols. Applications of Pluracol® 1543 include foams for prime carpet cushion, furniture seating and packaging. Pluracol® 381 by BASF is polyether triol. Foams made of this polyol have high tensile, tear and elongation properties in concert with low IFD values. Used in all types of filled foam applications. Pluracol® 381 can also be used to produce medium-firm to supersoft grades of conventional slabstock foam. Pluracol® 824 by BASF is aromatic initiator-based polyol. It is characterized by fine cell structure, low K factor and good dimensional stability. It has excellent compatibility with common foam ingredients such as blowing agents, most types of polyols, isocyanates, etc. Pluracol® 824 can be used with polymeric MDI and crude TDI. Pluracol® 945 by BASF is a high molecular weight polyol for use in high water, low-density automotive seating foams where a high degree of foam stability is required. In combination with graft polyols, it produces molded foams from high water, low-density formulations. Pluracol® 945 are less susceptible to mold leakage, voiding and basal cells than foams produced with other polyols, but do require crushing to prevent shrinkage. Pluracol® 1477 by BASF is polyol (diol). It is terminated with ethylene oxide which imparts a primary hydroxyl cap to polyol. Used for specialty polyether applications. Pluracol® TP2540 by BASF is tri-functional polyol formed by adding propylene oxide to a trimethylol propane nucleus. Used in preparing prepolymers as cross-linking agents and as polyol reactants in one-shot systems. Applications of Pluracol® TP2540 include flexible- and rigid polyurethane foams, adhesive & sealants. Pluracol® 1123 by BASF is primary terminated polyether triol. It has high molecular weight. The high levels of primary hydroxyl capping makes Pluracol® 1123 useful for hydrophilic polyurethane formulations. Pluracol® 220 by BASF is a high molecular weight primary hydroxyl terminated polyol. This grade is used in polyurethane sealant formulations. Pluracol® 1026 by BASF is a high molecular weight triol. It is used to produce high resiliency molded foams which in combination with graft polyols such as Pluracol® 973, process well and are crushed easily.
