Chimassorb® 81 by BASF is a 2-hydroxy-benzophenone which acts as a light stabilizer. Chimassorb® 81 provides good absorption in the UVB regions. Used in adhesives. Chimassorb® 944 FDL by BASF is a high molecular weight hindered amine HALS functions as light stabilizer. It has low volatility and offers excellent compatibility & good resistance to extraction. Chimassorb® 944 FDL applications include adhesives and sealant.
