Norsocryl® BA by Arkema is butyl acrylate. Applications in resins and dispersions for adhesives and glues. Norsocryl® BA is also used in UV-curing adhesives for building and construction. Norsocryl® 2EHA by Arkema is 2-ethylhexyl acrylate. Possesses the ability to polymerize with each other and copolymerize with other monomers to produce polymers. Applications include resins and dispersions for non-woven glues and adhesives. Also, Norsocryl® 2EHA is recommended for UV-curing adhesives for building and construction. Norsocryl® AA by Arkema is acrylic acid. Offers hydrosolubility and the carboxylic acid functionality provides anionic character and reactivity with alcohols and epoxides. Recommended for dispersions used for leather, textiles & non-woven glues and adhesives. Also, Norsocryl® AA is used in UV-curing adhesives for building and construction. Norsocryl® MAA by Arkema is acrylic acid. Provides anionic character (carboxylate) after reaction with a strong base. Offers hydrosolubility and adhesion ability to polar substrates. Norsocryl® MAA exhibits crosslinking ability and electrostatic stabilisation. Norsocryl® 121 by Arkema is acrylate monomer with a linear hydrocarbon chain that contains 12 to 44 carbons. Norsocryl® 121 has oil solubility, hydrophobicity and copolymerisation ability. Norsocryl® EA by Arkema is ethyl acrylate. Possesses ability to polymerise and copolymerise. Norsocryl® EA is used in various industrial applications. Norsocryl® LMA by Arkema is acrylate monomer with a linear hydrocarbon chain that contains from 12 to 44 carbons. Exhibits hydrophobicity and copolymerisation ability. Norsocryl® IOA by Arkema is a blend of acrylic esters of the C8 oil cup. Offers good tack properties for homopolymer. Norsocryl® IOA is also used in UV PSA formulation as soft apolar nonfunctional monomer. Indeed, the presence of long alkyl chains enhances its solubility in apolar solvents. Norsocryl® A 18-22 by Arkema is an acrylate monomer with a linear hydrocarbon chain that contains from 12 to 44 carbons. Exhibits oil solubility, hydrophobicity and copolymerisation ability. Norsocryl® 104 by Arkema is a high polarity monomer, methacrylate. It can be used to promote polar interactions with a substrate or inter-polymer polar interactions. It is also used as wet adhesion promoter for water-borne dispersions. Norsocryl® 104 provides improved cohesion performances to pressure sensitive adhesives.
