EPIKOTE™ Resin 215 by Westlake Epoxy is a low viscosity epoxy resin produced from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. It contains an added proportion of a mono epoxidized alcohol as a reactive diluent. It possesses low volatility and lack of odor which accounts for its agreeable handling characteristics. It offers excellent filler and substrate wetting and the resin has good resistance to filler settling. It is considered prone to crystallization on storage. It imparts good mechanical performance. EPIKOTE™ Resin 215 is suitable for building and civil engineering industries like flooring compounds, adhesives, mortars and grouts.
