GENIOSIL® XM 20

Supplied byWacker- Last Updated on Jul 23, 2025

GENIOSIL® XM 20 by Wacker is an organofunctional, alpha-silane-terminated polymer suitable as a reactive diluent in moisture-curing formulations. Used in the manufacture of plasticizer-free adhesives with extremely high elasticity. On curing, the new polymers are firmly integrated into the resulting three-dimensional polymer network, reducing the crosslink density. GENIOSIL® XM 20 not only adheres to concrete, wood, aluminum and glass, but also to low-energy surfaces such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polystyrene (PS) and cured ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber without prior pre-treatment of these substrates.
  • It can extend skin-over time and provides sufficient adhesive tooling time.
  • It include wood-flooring adhesives and all-round adhesive sealants.
  • GENIOSIL® XM 20 possesses high ultimate strength and adheres well to difficult substrates.
