VECTOR® DPX-671 by TSRC Corporation is a linear, styrene-isoprene block copolymer with a high diblock (SI) and very low styrene content. It is suitable for low-oil or oil-free hot-melt adhesive formulations which are crucial for removable PSAs and reducing or eliminating MOSH in food contact labels. It has narrow molecular weight distribution and is incredibly soft with a low hardness comparable to pure polyisoprene, eliminating the need for milling.
  • It possesses remarkable blocking resistance, surpassing other linear high-diblock SIS polymers.
  • It is easy to handle and provides low migration & adhesion to low-energy surfaces.
  • It imparts exceptional properties for label applications that ensure reliable bonding and durability.
  • It offers higher oil retention than VECTOR® 4114S which reduces bleeding, providing visually appealing face stocks and high oil loading results in cost competitiveness & reduced viscosity.
  • Hot-melt adhesives (HMA) based on VECTOR® DPX-671 exhibit a rheological profile like an acrylic adhesive, setting them apart from other SIS-based adhesives.
  • The unique characteristic ensures improved die-cutting and stripping during the label-converting process.
  • It offers high tack, excellent workability, and low adhesive glass transition temperature, making it suitable for refrigerated food labels.
