PLEXTOL™ L 4804 by Synthomer is an aqueous dispersion of acrylic copolymer. It is an anionic and APEO-free grade. It is recommended for pressure sensitive adhesives. It offers well-balanced peel adhesion, initial tack, excellent shear resistance and moderate water-, & whitening (blush) resistance. It is also recommended for automotive and indoor B&C specialty tapes. It exhibits very good adhesion to a wide range of substrates. PLEXTOL™ L 4804 provides good film formation, transparency, softness, permanent stickiness and high flexibility. It can be tackified with commercially available tackifiers. It is also suitable for general purpose paper and filmic label manufacturing. The shelf life of the product is 6 months.
