Amorphous poly alpha olefin. It is a propylene homo-polymer based polyolefin. It provides inherent moisture resistance, chemical resistance, inherent tackiness etc. It is resistant to acids, alkalis and other chemicals making it suitable for environments where the adhesive and sealant systems are exposed to such conditions. It is compatible with solvents, tackifiers, waxes, styrene block copolymers which make it highly sought after resin for adhesive manufacturing. It has applications in the manufacturing of hot melt adhesives and sealant systems.
