REXtac® APAO 1320

Amorphous poly alpha olefin. It is polyolefin based on copolymers of medium ethylene and propylene. It is used extensively on substrates such as film, polyester, paper, woven and non-woven fabrics, foam, foil etc. It improves wettability during the lamination process. It provides moisture resistance, chemical resistance, inherent tackiness etc. It has long been used neat or as a basic component in formulations for various lamination applications such as reinforced paper tape, lumber wrap, and paper wrap.
