Aromatic hydrocarbon resin. Used as a tackifier in hot melt and solvent based adhesives and in sound insulation materials. Provides heat, water and chemicals resistance. Allows adjustment of hot tack, rheology and open time. Permits the use of acid or basic pigments and fillers in processing.
