Si-PolyU 2550 by PolyU is an apolar, moderately viscous, silane-modified hybrid polymer. It has a polypropylene oxide-backbone terminated with trimethoxysilyl groups. It is used as a reactive binder in solvent- & isocyanate-free sealants & high tensile strength (elastic) adhesives. Suitable for building and construction applications.
- It is allergens- & nanomaterials-free and is not tested on animals.
- It offers high elongation at break and good adhesion to various substrates, without prior use of primers or any surface treatment.
- It is moisture curable at room temperature and can be formulated as one- or two-component system.
- The shelf life of Si-PolyU 2550 is 12 months.
