AXCIDE BIT-33 is a 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one grade by Planet Chemicals. This grade is a low-toxicity biocide prepared in glycol solution for protection against microorganisms in wet state. It has a good thermal stability and low volatility. AXCIDE BIT-33 is suitable for use in adhesives. This grade can be easily formulated into many products as it is miscible with water in any ratio. It is stable over a wide pH range of 2 - 12. This grade can be added at a very early phase in the production process without affecting the active content during the higher temperature processes.
