Piccolyte® C115 by Pinova (DRT) is a polyterpene resin produced from d-limonene, a natural terpene of citrus origin. Acts as a tackifier. It is a pale, neutral, low molecular weight, highly stable thermoplastic resin.
- It has high softening point, light color, resistance to aging and excellent balance of adhesive & cohesive properties.
- It shows wide compatibility & solubility, inertness to acids, alkali, and salts.
- It enables high tack & tack retention as well as heat- and UV light- resistance.
- It is a highly effective tackifier for both elastomeric- and thermoplastic based adhesive systems.
- It is compatible with natural and synthetic rubbers.
- Piccolyte® C115 is used in pressure sensitive and hot melt adhesives.
