Pexalyn® Ester 10 by Pinova is a glycerol ester of partially dimerized rosin. Acts as a tackifier and rheology modifier. It is a hard, pale, thermoplastic resin. It promotes hardness & water resistance, enables good emulsion stability good adhesion and low ash content. It has a higher softening point than typical glycerol esters of wood or gum rosin, as well as improved color stability and solution properties. It exhibits good oxidation resistance and broad solubility & compatibility. It has applications as a tackifier in hot melt, solvent and emulsion adhesives. It is used as a modifier in sealing waxes. Pexalyn® Ester 10 by Pinova complies with FDA 21 CFR 175.105 regulation.
