Omyabond 160 by Omya is a low moisture, ultrafine particle sized, treated calcium carbonate designed as a reinforcing filler for high modulus, moisture curing adhesives and sealants. It is cost effective and has high surface area. It helps to control the rheology of the formulations, combining excellent shear thinning, anti-slump behavior and good yield control.
  • It provides high batch to batch consistency, substantial low shear viscosity and excellent mechanical properties.
  • It offers a sustainable route to produce high performance hybrid and silicone adhesives & sealants with extremely low carbon footprint.
  • Omyabond 160 shows enhanced dispersion leading to process optimization and excellent adhesion to a broad range of substrates.
