Omyabond 120

Omyabond 120 by Omya is a low-moisture, ultrafine, natural calcium carbonate filler designed for reactive adhesives and sealants. It is a treated mineral with a high surface area. It can be used as a single component to provide a typical rheological modifier profile combined with true reinforcing properties without compromising on moisture content and moisture pick-up. Shows sag resistance, good extrusion rate, good adhesion, higher strength, elongation, good mechanical performance, elastic recovery, and good workability. Provides low energy intensity and easy-to-disperse, cost-effective grade with low polymer content. Omyabond 120 allows moisture scavenging, process savings to avoid pre-drying and higher machine productivity. It is recommended for use in SMP (Silyl Modified Polymer) systems. It enables formulation of sealants that meet the relevant ISO standards while reducing polymer content and without impacting processing.
