Silquest™ A-1106 Silane

Silquest™ A-1106 Silane by Momentive Performance Materials is an adhesion promoter. It improves the coupling between organic resins and inorganic surfaces (siliceous fillers, glass and metal substrates). It reduces volatile organic content (VOC) and does not contain hazardous air polluting substances (HAPS). It easily dilutes with water for safer and easier handling. It is used as an additive for water-soluble or dispersible resin formulations or as a surface treatment. It shows good compatibility with resins such as vinyl and acrylic latexes, epoxies and phenolics. Silquest™ A-1106 Silane is applicable in insulation of glass fiber binders, filler treatment, water-based sealants and adhesives.
