Michem® Prime 4990R

Waterborne dispersion of an ethylene acrylic acid copolymer. Provides very good adhesion to both metal and cellulosic substrates. Enhances the water, grease, oil and solvent resistance of adhesives. Offers barrier properties, flexibility, improved adhesion, hot tack strength, low heat seal temperatures, optical clarity, outstanding adhesion to polyethylene, EPDM, polyurethane and nylon, high gloss and wet-strength retention, and compatibility with other resin binders. Applications : laminating adhesives for paper, foil and film; heatseal adhesives for skin packaging and medical packaging; binders for nonwovens.
