Polybutene-1 DP 8910 PC

Polybutene-1 DP 8910 PC by LyondellBasell is a random copolymer of butene-1 with high ethylene content. It contains organic peroxide free additives. It provides increased open time and maintains mechanical integrity at higher temperatures. It is used in combination with a wide variety of non-polar resins and waxes. It offers high compatibility with polypropylene. It exhibits good abrasion- and chemical resistance, flexibility and toughness. It possesses reduced melt viscosity in elevated temperature processing. Polybutene-1 DP 8910 PC finds application in blend component of hot melt adhesives (HMA) formulations and sealant compounds.
