Rhenocure® 1000 C by LANXESS is an accelerator for vulcanization of natural and synthetic rubber and as a catalyst of reaction between hindered polyisocyanates and amines for PUR joint-sealing materials. It is o-tolyl biguanide coated with mineral oil. Offers very slow scorch rates and relatively slow cure rates. Rhenocure® 1000 C can be used as a secondary accelerator with synergistic effect in conjunction with mercapto, thiuram and dithiocarbamate accelerators.
