SpeedCure EHA

Supplied byLambson (Sartomer)- Last Updated on Jun 2, 2020

SpeedCure EHA by Lambson (Sartomer) is an 2-ethylhexyl-4-(dimethylamino) benzoate. Acts as an efficient amine synergist and solvent. When used in conjunction with Type II photoinitiators, it generates free radicals that initiate photo-polymerization of suitable resin formulations. Exhibits the capability of dissolving Speedcure ITX (~30% w/v at 20°C). Possesses low volatility, low freezing point and ability to add amine synergist and initiator as a single liquid. It is useful in UV formulations and is insoluble in water. SpeedCure EHA by Lambson is recommended for adhesives. Suggested levels of use are 2 – 5% w/w Speedcure EHA together with 0.2 – 3% w/w Speedcure ITX or BMDS (quantities vary depending on individual formulations and applications).
