SpeedCure EDB

Supplied byLambson (Sartomer)- Last Updated on Jun 2, 2020

SpeedCure EDB by Lambson (Sartomer) is an ethyl-4-(dimethylamino)benzoate. Acts as an efficient amine synergist. When used in conjunction with Type II photoinitiators, it generates free radicals (by hydrogen abstraction mechanism) that initiate photo-polymerization of suitable resin formulations. Shows good solubility in most common organic solvents & UV curable monomers, low toxicity and low odor. SpeedCure EDB is recommended for adhesives and sealants. Suggested levels of use are 2 – 5% w/w Speedcure DMB together with 0.25 – 3% w/w photoinitiator (quantities vary depending on individual formulations and applications).
