SpeedCure BDMB by Lambson (Sartomer) is a 2-Benzyl-2-dimethylamino-4-morpholinobutyrophenone. Acts as a highly reactive Type I photoinitiator. It initiates rapid photo-polymerization when exposed to UV light. Easy to handle and weigh accurately. It is a pale yellow colored fine powder. It rapidly cures complex systems in conjunction with other co-initiators such as Speedcure 84 or Speedcure BKL. Particularly suitable for UV curable systems. SpeedCure BDMB is used in adhesives (red shifted ?max (325 nm). Suggested levels of use are 0.5 – 5%w/w. The product can also be used in conjunction with other co-initiators such as Speedcure 84 or Speedcure BKL dependent on the system that is being cured.
