SpeedBlock 326 by Lambson (Sartomer) is a 2-(5-chloro(2H)-benzotriazole-2-yl)-4-(methyl)-6-(tert-butyl)phenol. Acts as a UV absorber. Offers broad range UV protection with an absorption band width 220 nm to 400 nm. This pale yellow powder is can be used to impart light stability in plastics and other organic materials. It should be used with a HAL type light stabilizer. Compatible with acrylics, polyimides, polyesters, polyamides, polyurethane and silicones. Used in hot-melt and UV based adhesives. Typical addition level of SpeedBlock 326 ranges from 0.1-0.5% depending on applications.
