KURARAY POVAL™ 10-98

KURARAY POVAL™ 10-98 by Kuraray is a water-soluble, fully saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It is suitable as emulsion polymerization aid to binder in paper applications. It exhibits excellent film characteristics like high cohesion & toughness, low electrostatic charging and re-dissolving capacity of the dried film in water. A binder in textile sizes is based on its good penetration capacity and good adhesion properties on all types of fibrous material. It possesses remarkable barrier properties and displays excellent mechanical properties if applied as a film on paper or paper board. It is recommended for silicone base paper to be used as release paper for PSA labels. KURARAY POVAL™ 10-98 can be stored for 12 months from the shipment date.
