EXCEVAL™ RS-2817 SB by Kuraray is a hydrophobically modified polyvinyl alcohol. Exhibits high water resistance and high film forming property. Used as a dispersing aid/ protective colloid for the manufacture of polyvinyl acetate emulsion for wood adhesives. EXCEVAL™ RS-2817 SB offers gas barrier versus oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and organic substances.
