It is an effective catalyst for the reaction of isocyanates and polyols for the production of polyurethane foams. It is a proprietary mixed organometallic complex specially designed to be an alternative to mercury, tin and amine catalysts without the toxicity concerns. It has excellent cure response similar cure profile to mercury catalysts, and environmentally more acceptable. It has applications as sealants.
