Poval VF-20 by Japan Vam Poval is stable, water-soluble, fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol. It possesses excellent surface activation, emulsion and dispersion properties. It shows good chemical reactivity, membrane formation such as high film transparency, high strength, excellent gas barrier, clouding prevention and anti-static electricity. It has a hydroxyl group and exhibits excellent adhesive force to hydrophilic surfaces such as paper and wood. Poval VF-20 is used as an ingredient in vinylon synthetic fibers and suitable for paper adhesives.
