Poval VF-17 by Japan Vam Poval is stable, water-soluble, fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol resin for paper adhesives. It exhibits excellent adhesive force to hydrophilic surfaces such as paper and wood. It shows good chemical reactivity, membrane formation such as high film transparency, high strength, excellent gas barrier, clouding prevention and anti-static electricity. Poval VF-17 is used as an ingredient in vinylon synthetic fibers. It has a hydroxyl group and possesses excellent surface activation, emulsion and dispersion properties.
