Capa® -3050

Capa® -3050 by Ingevity is a low molecular weight polyester triol (terminated by primary hydroxyl groups). It gives a narrow molecular weight distribution, low viscosity, low impurities and shows consistent crystallization. Exhibits outstanding flexibility even at low temperatures, excellent strength and abrasion resistance and a controlled and consistent open time. Provides strong adhesion on difficult and sensitive substrates including leather and shows a lasting outdoor performance for polyurethane materials. Capa® -3050 is non-toxic and biodegradable. Shows a fast wetting process and benefits in durable joints even in humid environments and light-stable applications. Recommended for use in waterborne, solvent-based and hot-melt polyurethane adhesives. Applications in the automotive and footwear industries, as well as a range of other areas.
