Priplast™ 3196 by Cargill is a vegetable-oil based, amorphous polyester polyol. It has good hydrocarbon compatibility for polymer blends. It imparts extreme hydrophobicity, excellent durability and high flexibility that can be used in conjunction with flexible substrates.
- It exhibits good wetting-, excellent protective properties, low color, high concentration of difunctional components and improved adhesion.
- It allows for exposure to humid conditions.
- It prevents cracking and offers hydrolytic-, thermal-, UV- and oxidative stability for a longer product lifetime and outdoor use.
- Priplast™ 3196 is suitable for polyurethane polymeric systems, adhesive and sealant applications.
- It is ISCC certified and complies with regulations of FDA (175.105), US FDA (175.300) and EU (No. 10/2011).
