Vistamaxx™ 3000 by ExxonMobil Chemical is propylene-based elastomer. It offers good durability, softness, excellent sealing properties and mechanical properties. It provides excellent adhesion, very good elasticity, toughness and clarity at extreme temperatures and on a wide range of substrates. It has very low seal initiation temperature combined with high seal strength, very good chemical resistance and long term aging. It exhibits more mileage for the same weight through low density, reduced adhesive applicator maintenance and exceptional thermal stability. It improves cling performance in cast stretch film and offers outstanding optical properties and improved recyclability. It has a consistent pot stability which reduces charring, gelling and therefore clogged nozzles. This in turn minimizes cost for cleanup and maintenance. Vistamaxx™ 3000 has moderate elastomeric properties, is easy to process and is compatible with a wide variety of hydrocarbon-based polymers. Applications include hot-melt adhesives used in compounding, film and packaging industries. It is FDA, EU and RoHS compliant.
