VISIOMER® HEMA-P 100 by Evonik is a non-migratory, methyl methacrylate-free, high-performance monofunctional methacrylate with a phosphate group in the side chain. It acts as a flame retardant, adhesion-promoter, anti-corrosive- and complexing agent. It provides superior adhesion to polar surfaces like metals, glass, ceramics and concrete. It can be used as a monomer for acrylic adhesives.
  • It is a versatile grade incorporated by polymerization.
  • It has a high monoester content which helps ensure maximum performance.
  • VISIOMER® HEMA-P 100 exhibits long-lasting effects, improves dispersibility and increases corrosion resistance on metal substrates.
  • It enhances the shear strength of standard 2K methacrylate-based structural adhesives on steel substrates substantially.
  • It is suitable for sealants, waterproofing roofs and construction applications.
  • Unlike traditional additives, it offers flame retardancy without compromising transparency or mechanical properties.
