AIRASE® 5655 Defoamer

AIRASE® 5655 Defoamer by Evonik is a siloxane-based defoamer. It does not contain added mineral oils, hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) or alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEs). It is suitable for low-VOC formulations. It exhibits long term defoaming stability, very good compatibility and ease of incorporation. It is designed to control and eliminate foam without generating surface defects in water-based adhesives. It is suitable for use in food packaging applications. Complies with US FDA 21CFR 175.105, US FDA 21CFR 175.320, US FDA 21CFR 176.170, US FDA 21CFR 180, US FDA 21CFR 176.210, Swiss ordinance annex 10, part A of lists I-V and China GB9685-2016 regulations. Recommended dosage ranges between 0.5 to 1.0 % of total formulation weight. The shelf life of AIRASE® 5655 Defoamer is 24 months from the date of manufacture.
