AIRASE® 5300 Defoamer by Evonik is a structured siloxane defoamer line (SSDL) defoamer. It is a formulated, solvent, alkyl phenol ethoxylate (APE) free, HAPs-free and easy to handle liquid. It offers improved pH stability, low-viscosity, zero VOC (per EPA Method 2) and low odor. It is designed for the applications where strong defoaming is required with good long-term persistency especially in high shear applications. AIRASE® 5300 Defoamer is used in waterborne adhesives. Its recommended usage level is 0.05–0.5%.
