RHEOLATE® 678 by Elementis is an associative rheology modifier designed for use in latex systems. It is solvent-, APE- and tin-free, polyether urea polyurethane (HEUR). It provides superior thickening efficiency in both the high- and mid-shear rate ranges and in-can viscosity.
- It offers excellent brush drag, superior flow and leveling, good color acceptance and stability.
- It exhibits low odor, easy incorporation and balanced mid- and high-shear flow.
- It enhances film build.
- It reduces spattering during roller application and shows compatibility with other rheological additives.
- Designed for adhesive applications.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.4-2.0 % (as delivered) by weight of the paint.
