NUOSPERSE® FX 540 by Elementis is a solvent-free ammonium salt of a polymeric carboxylic acid in water. Acts as a polymeric pigment wetting and dispersing agent for hydrophilic pigments and extenders. Provides no foaming, hydrolysis resistance, very good compatibility with polymeric emulsions, reduction of dispersion viscosity and prevention of flocculation, floating, flooding and pigment settling. NUOSPERSE® FX 540 is used in water-based adhesives at a recommended usage level of 0.1-0.8%.
