Bentone® GS by Elementis is a beneficiated powdered smectite clay-based rheological additive. It is specifically developed for water-borne construction systems. It imparts thixotropy and limits the separation. It provides thermostable viscosity control of the aqueous phase.
  • It enhances texturing & stippling effects and improves workability/application of plasters.
  • It reduces the surface drag so that an enhanced finish is achieved.
  • It is suitable for adhesive applications.
  • It is mainly used in (lime) cement plasters, gypsum plasters, repair mortars, self-leveling floors, cement mortars and concrete applications.
  • Recommended dosage level of Bentone® GS is 0.03% to 0.25% (of the total powder).
  • It has a shelf life of 4 years.
  • It is listed with TSCA, EINECS, EU REACH, DSL, ENCS, PICCS, KECL, IECSC, AICS, NZIoC, and NECI.
